Musical Groupings:

The Riverboat Stompers is a seven-piece ensemble.  When playing a repertoire of traditional jazz selections, the instrumental combination of cornet, clarinet, trombone, piano, banjo, tuba and drums acurately reflects how such music was played in 1920's.  For stage concerts and outdoor events, the full ensemble is recommended.

The band can also be scaled down in number to accommodate your budget or space limits at your venue.  Need a quartet?  We'll do that!  Instrumentation can be modified should your party or dance wish to focus on swing rather than traditional jazz.  We will determine with you the instrumental combination and band size that best satisfies your circumstances.
